The Convergence of the Blood Moons with the Shemitah

Without a doubt, it appears that Yahweh is trying to warn His people, and those far from Him, that treacherous times have arrived for our nation.

Will we have the patience, wisdom and humility to listen (so as to gain understanding) to what He is saying through Messianic prophets, signs in the heavens and in the earth below? I sure hope so because I am convinced that the next 1-2 years will bring forth the greatest tumult America has ever known in her short history. The faithful remnant will either grow to critical mass in awakening and revival born out of deep repentance or judgment will sweep over the land with astonishing speed and severity. Even if genuine repentance were to come to America, our nation appears to have taken on the identity of the daughter of (Mystery) Babylon prophesied in the Scriptures. It may be too late to recover from the evil we have promulgated in the world (legalized abortion since '73, bullying other nations to legalize on-demand abortion, unjust wars of aggression, unjust proxy wars, gross sexual immorality, promoting our immorality to the ends of the earth, financial treachery in the form of $20 trillion national debt, and the list goes on and on).


What is the Shemitah?

Deuteronomy 15 “At the end of every seven years you shall grant a release of debts. 2 And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the Lord’s release. 3 Of a foreigner you may require it; but you shall give up your claim to what is owed by your brother, 4 except when there may be no poor among you; for the Lord will greatly bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance— 5 only if you carefully obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe with care all these commandments which I command you today. 6 For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.

7 “If there is among you a poor man of your brethren, within any of the gates in your land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart nor shut your hand from your poor brother,8 but you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his need, whatever he needs. 9 Beware lest there be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, ‘The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,’ and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing, and he cry out to the Lord against you, and it become sin among you. 10 You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand. 11 For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.’

Deuteronomy 28 describes both the blessings for obeying the shemitah as well as the curses for perverting justice.

Messianic Rabbi Cahn gives multiple evidences and story lines to demonstrate the power and reach of these fixed shemitah blessings/curses. This truly is a mystery, and one that will certainly stretch your mind and view of God's personal fingerprints throughout (recent) history. Super Signs in the Heavens

The heavens declare the glory of God. The cosmos has been established to portend judgments on the earth as well.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years. (Genesis 1:14)

With that in mind, what cycles and signs do we have awaiting us in the next few years?

And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.

He told them this parable:  Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man. (Luke 21: 25 - 36)

I wanted to draw attention to a couple of points from the video:

1. I do not endorse Pastor Steve's passing remark speculating on a possible date of the rapture at 13:00 into the video. If you're not listening closely, you can easily miss his :08 comment. We need not spend even a second speculating as to that day and hour. It is not profitable to camp on this point because if we simply obey Jesus' command to follow and watch, such matters will work out just fine. Further, I am not convinced at all by Darby's Dispensationalism and pre-trib rapture suppositions. That discussion is for another time.
2. I believe that the days leading up to and beyond 9/13/15 could prove to be the most significant period in the history of America. September 13th of 2015 happens to be the 7 year mark (on God's Hebrew calendar) since the market collapse of 2008. Such a 7 year cycle requires some research before you simply dismiss it, because the 2008 market collapse fell 7 years after the 9/17/01 date. I suggest reading up on the Shmita as dictated by God in Deuteronomy 15. These principles seem to be in play due to the fiat nature of our currency, the unspeakable corruption of world systems/banks and the increasing lawlessness in the church/world. The pastor speaks to this cycle at 13:25.

Is it true that God proves Himself through numerical patterns? The Bible and astronomy attest to it. Yahweh has provided so many evidences in creation and the heavens that He is the One True God. How hard must we work to miss and deny Him?

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. Now this is the condemning verdict:  Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. (John 3: 17 - 19)
